I looked up European starlings on yahoo, found listing of gov info on invasive species. They listed all resources available. What you will be looking for is scientific papers written on the species you are interested in.

Try chain research. Start with a book that has a bibliography or literature cited section. Check out those sources and use their bibliographies to work backward to the journals.

Alternatively, try Zoological Record, which abstracts the journals in the field. If you can get your hands on Wildlife Review (no longer published), that's good too.

A third possibility is to go thru the indices to the ornithological journals, such as Auk.

oo thats a toughie...um try to get photos, or get a book about them...only using primary sources is the hardest because somethings arent written down...but try a local library and ask them about it.
