I think Google has satellite images of other countries. I know I have seen Malaysia and Kuala Lampur with the same satellite images as the ones of the U.S. (It might help to start with Yahoo! Travel.)

Hi! I don't know about Malaysia, but Google earth does a great job with China.
Also there are some maps with National Geographic now that show satellite views.
