I don't give thumbs down, it is not my place to discourage others from giving their opinions. Even if I ever wanted to, I wouldn't need to because my personal thumb troll takes care of it for me. It will thumb all of my answers it comes across, and all the answers to any of my questions that it comes across.

I only give a thumbs down when I think it was uncalled for, this happens a lot in the Religion and Spirituality section, people will say that a stupid religion is stupid, and the answer they give does not even come close to answering the question.

I only give a thumbs down to those who don't want real answers but only want to feed hatred and gossip. Give advice not based on fact but by beliefs which could harm. It is rare that I give a thumbs down and I find the ones that do are usually biased and only their opinion counts.

No, I only thumbs down answers that are very wrong, or are dangerous. I don't use thumbs down to judge people, just the quality of their answers.
