1. there are 16 ounces in a pound. so 14 times 16 =224 cents per pound or $2.24 per pound.

2. there is 60 min in 1 hour. and 5280 feet per mile. so to convert 35mph to X ft per min you multiply (35 * 5280) then divide by the 60 min to get 3080 ft per min.

3. there are 12 inched in a foot. 1440 minutes in a day. So a 120 feet is 1440 inches. 1 day is 1440 minutes. so thats 1 inch per minute.

(12in=1 foot.12*120)/minutes in a day

okay, dont be all crazy about it, its a algebaic problem, now you will have to devide a number into both sides, then do so multiplay bye what number it goes to each number, like 2 goes into 2 and x=2 devided bye 2 = 1 so you devide by one, and then you will get 14 times 16 you get 16 times14 = 80 is ur answer!
