its a thing called life
people come and go, you meet new people and you say good bye to old freinds but the memories always last
and the ones that love you most never go away
and sometimes when you love someone you gotta let them go
- unless its something that youve done to them that makes them go away which im sure isnt

Many of us, myself included, subconsciously drive people away when we feel they are getting too close. It's a "perverted" (for lack of a better word) self-defense mechanism.
