I mean, really. They are both combinations of letters and nothing more. How can one word be offensive and the other not? It makes no sense.

True, I say the same thing. Why is so bad about saying "Fornicate!" or "Feces!" or "I condem the imaginary being you worship!".

I agree and I've wondered the same thing myself.
The only words I personally dislike are vulgar type words... c_nt for example. But "cuss" or "swear" words really do not bother me. I'm like you, I wonder how certain words became "bad" words and others didn't.

I dont believe in "cuss" words.....they are just words like everything else......they are ways to express urself when no other words can....i think people get to uptight about the little things......

it makes big sense!!!...people(in the past) fought cause one of them cursed the other!!...when someone curses you do you smile and move on?? no you wouldn't , you won't fight with this person but you can't let it pass either right???....

The difference between having it replaced by asterisks and having it print. For example, if I say ****, that will get censored. But if I say "have sex," it will not.
