If you don't know what you got you are very lucky for having parents who would buy it for you. Take the time and open the book that came with it. It has all kinds of information in it. Show you parents that you really aren't as stupid as you are making out to be.pp

I have a ZUNE!! It came with some cool songs and videos and pictures! Once you set it up on your computer you can delete the stuff!

you bought a zune, which has nothing to do with ipods. if you are sure that it is new, then the items on it are most likely samples. read the instruction manual that should have come with it, it should tell you how to delete those unwanted items.

Apple iPods are not sent with any items on the unit.
You most likely have a Microsoft Zune mp3 player.
It's a mp3 player and not an iPod. Knowing MS it wouldn't suprise me they load it with crap before shipping.

you bought a used ipod that someone did not delete the songs from when they returned it.this happened to my friend.take it back and ask for a new one

well if the pics and songs came with it you could always just delete them from the i-pod by viewing the pic or song and then clicking delete

Connect it to you computer and check the manually handle picture and music box, then you can erase them.
