I am in my 6th day after Carotid Endarterectomy and I still feel pretty yukky. My incision is still quite sore and swollen.My jaw is a bit numb and as is tongue.I am only 53 years old,female. How much longer do I leave strips of bandages on ? When will this feel a lot better >

Check with the surgeon who performed the operation. They should have given you instructions to take home when they released you.
