There is a bad habit, I have that I need to stop. Although I've had this bad habit for years, I can't seem to be able to break this bad habit. I need advice on how to stop this bad habit.

No matter where I am, if someone falls or trips I see it happen them start laughing. Whenever I see a person fall I don't laugh at loud, but I get the feeling that I want to laugh. I then start laughing quietly in my head, after the person falls. Everytime this happens, I feel that theres nothing that can't make me stop laughing.

I don't mean to laugh at the person who fell, but I do it anyway. If the person starts makes drama, then I feel like I want to laugh harder. How can I stop this?

I don't know if this is an answer but I do the same thing. I also cannot control my laughter even in front of friends that fall> In fact know I am laughing just thinking of my cousin that fell when her chair broke!! Maybe it is nervous laughter that does it. Maybe we think that the person is going to be really hurt and prepare ourselves. But I have had some good laughs that way. Even if it is myself.

What your laughing at is the actual fall, you really don't want to see the person hurt, but the falling can be comical looking. If the person who fell gets all dramatic, I would probably crack a smile, unless of course they got really hurt, then it would not be funny at all.

As you go to help out, try to think of something serious, like stock trades, or how thankful that the person is not really hurt, or getting medical aid if he is.

It might be helpful to think of some soothing music to help soothe the savage beast... quiet piano music and "Sounds of Spring" ought to do the trick.
