Look in your crayon box. You will discover that blue green is a different color than aqua or even green blue.

Blue and green in different intensities make quite a lot of different hues.

aqua is more of a light colored blue with green mixed in, turquoise is more of a green and blue equal mix,.

As far as blue green is concerned, I would think of a "freshmint" blue spruce tree on a blue sky winter mountain day. It is an evergreen, so it is green, but does have a large tint of blue in the needles that really stands out when there is not one cloud in the sky and the snow is on the ground..
