I don't think that I really have more work than I did in high school. It is just different. I spend a lot less time in class. I only have 2-3 classes every day, but I do spend quite a bit of time studying to make really good grades. The college experience outside of class is also VERY FUN!

I'm actually finding college easier than high school.
In high school you're forced to take all subjects whether or not you need them. In college the only course so far and I'm in my second semester is English that isn't related to my course, but in a way it is since I will be teaching English to young children in my day care or at school. Whichever I route I choose to go.
In high school I always suffered in science and history and now I don't take those. It makes school a lot less stressful.

I'm in college now (sophomore year) and I feel like my work load isn't too much more than high school...yeah I have a 12 page paper to do and other things I never did in high school but it's not as bad as my high school teachers made it out to be...maybe it's my major though...Early Childhood Education lol =)

Nope, not I. Quite honestly, I find college to be easier than high school. Many of my classes are homework free. Only need to read the book and prepare for an exam. Occassionally, there's a paper or the dreaded group project. But overall, it takes less of my time.

it's a different approach really, because hardly anything assigned (at least in my 3 years so far) is due "the next session". For example in my mathematics for game programming course we'll get 3-4 chapters to cover within 2 weeks, can turn in the work anytime within that 2 weeks, don't even have to go to class except to get the assignment and take the quiz at the end of the weeks.
-- in short, there's more work, but a lot more flexibility and time to get it done.
As long as you can manage time it's actually a lot simpler.
Varies largely though based on your school and professor policies and course schedules.

I barely showed up for high school, so I wasn't there enough to complain. As for college, I looked at it as a challenge, plus I'm a nerd so it wasn't too bad.

Truly college was a lot easier for me. Maybe because my heart was in a different place while in high school.

I had more work in high school than I do in college. Of course...I chose a major I like, so most of my 'work' is fun to me.

R u kidding me? I'd love to just set the default life position at 13 and live the following seven years over and over!
And I'm not being sarcastic.
