is it just me or hav dances got to be just plain gross. i really want to have a sock hop at my school, where everyone dresses up in 50s stuff and do swing dancing to a live band in their socks on the wood gym floor. would you do it?

You know what, when I was a kid, the old folks had the same problem with rock n' roll. Hell, Elvis Presly caused a stir for shimmying on the Ed Sullivan show. LOL
As for your dance..... the sock hop may be a little too retro. How about something with a '70's theme? People really don't grind to Disco. lol

I think most kids only know two dances: jump up and down and simulated sex on the dance floor.

i would totally do it! i mean my school dances are so boring...no one dances until sun down. and when they do its really really bad songs that the so called dj "mean young blond 6 grade teacher" has and she makes us dance to. an the girls arent even cute at our school!
