I was in the military during the clinton era and will NOT forget how we were treated by them. SGT's on welfare and foodstamps not to mention the privates. Not being able to train because of the defence cuts. Senior NCO's and officers getting the boot to downsize the military. So, sorry but i've had enough of your help clintons. I also wonder what the Generals are getting paid to back this POS. At least with the terrorist you know where you stand. They cut the military to the point of being non combat ready. @#~2~@!# now i gotta go find something to throw.

To me its not about Democrats and repulican its about Clintons. Yes i agree vet's need more help than their getting, but do you really beleive hill is the one thats gonna give it? She like the rest are telling folks what they wanna here. All this is a grab for power and a push to socialism.

Pal, right now one fourth of veterans are homeless and
almost half of the rest live at or below the poverty line...
.. the republicans have held the high office almost
seven years with still another to cut further on veterans'
benefits. Gasoline and home heating fuel has veterans
making tough decisions whether to buy food, buy fuel,
or pay the rent...there's no way in hell to pay 'em all!
This administration has a war going on, but the troops
are denied the best possible weaponery and armour,
the technology is available, but they won't spend the
money to use it...as a result precious American lives
are lost daily ! So which is better....?

Here I go aging myself again....
While it is true things like budgets take time to trickle down , military spending doesn't seem to be a big concern of democrats in general.
I was in the Navy under the Carter administration - those glorious years that the military got the joys of training Iranian soldiers.
Wonder if any of that will come back to bite us in the rear.(sarcasm - big time )

Thank you for your service to the country. I'm so afraid that many of the soldiers that are now serving are not going to get jobs when they return or have deep mental and emotional problems when they get back and the government (Democrat or republican) won't care not one bit.
Once again, Thank You for serving!

The Democrat Party loves the terrorists. It hates our heros. If another terror attack takes place on our shores, the Democrat Party gets banned. Its hierarchy, including its major financiers? Arrested, brief show trials, and they hang for their internal collaboration and support of the terrorist. Make the defendants wear big dunce caps during the show trials. Force all Democrat Party leaders left alive to take a loyalty oath. To the US, this time.

I agree with you totally!!
Veterans are treated like manure. Great when you want something to grow, otherwise dumped.
Americans!!!! Why do you worship troops in combat & forget all about them when they are home???

Ummm.... dude... Reagan and Bush started the cuts... it got filtered down by the time Clinton was in office. It takes up to 10 years for the effects of cuts to show any real changes.
No one out here is complaining about the Clintons...

Im an Army Vet and I feel we're under appreciated. People only respect us in war. About 2 or 3 yrs. after war we're overpaid and a bunch more of things all negative and untrue.

Bush has had seven years to fix your problems, loyal vet, but instead has cut veterans' benefits and not provided anywhere near enough body armor or vehicle armor to our brave troops fighting HIS war for power and oil. He misrepresented and manipulated intelligence, and sorry to tell you, but those are stone cold facts. Maybe that is why certain generals are backing Hillary. I of course won't, but not for the reasons you stated.
Thank you on this Veterans Day for your faithful service to our once proud nation.
