al harris took a low blow on a tackle... not really trying to tackle him, just hit him at the knees. he lead with his head and shoulders and didn't try to wrap -- he torpedoed his body in an attempt to injure, looks like he was successful.

He was playing the NFCs top defense, but Peterson is still a fine young back. His style is the sort that'll get him injured often though. He runs powerfully and recklessly and that means he'll take a lot of big impacts. The play he was injured on today is another result of his running style, because a corner isn't going to be able to take a back like Peterson down high.. Al Harris actually made a perfect tackle in the situation it is too bad Peterson got injured on the play though.

Bulldog and Garnett:
You know nothing about football and accept it that the "purple eaters" got spanked today.
Garnett: That is a class act talking about breaking Favre's leg and throwing hand. You are a disgrace to all sports and can't accept a fair tackle in any way. People like you give sports a bad name.
Harris would never intentionally hurt someone and it isn't our problem he is injury prone. The Packers did their job by stopping AP and it is as simple as that.
Go cry about your Vike queens going nowhere.

In response to John L
....talk about a little punk... nobody who wrote, or responded to, this childish question could hold a candle to Adrian Peterson (torn lcl or not), but you're hell bent on trashing him....sitting at a keyboard and trashing an injured athlete like he was dating your fantasy girlfriend or something. Like you wouldn't pee your pants and ask for his autograph if he took a wrong turn somehow, ended up on your street, and picked you to ask directions from.
Let's get something straight: An NFL game is a bunch of overpaid athletes playing another bunch of overpaid athletes. Members of the Green Bay Packers didn't come to Wisconsin because they like to look at frozen cows and eat cheese, and Minnesota Vikings players didn't go to Minnesota to go camping and fishing. They're gonna play a few years and go someplace warm. There isn't a single player in the league who cares what the heck you have to say about anything that enters your mind as long as they keep on cashing their game checks and selling replica jerseys for people like you to wear. They're all laughing all the way to the bank happy that there are suckers like you who link their self-esteem with who scores more points on any given Sunday....
...calling an injured athlete a "pus*y".... geez...look in the mirror...
Go buy some crackerjacks, John L....maybe you'll find a clue inside...

I am a Vikings fan and am deeply depressed after losing to our rivals. Adrian Peterson had only 45 yards on 10 or 11 carries. He was injured by a cheap shot from Al Harris. The truth on why he only had 45 yars is that the coach, Brad Childress, doesn't know anything about football and doesn't call Peterson's number. I'd also like to add that hopefully someone will take a cheap shot on favre and break is leg or throwing hand.

I see some foolish Viking fans don't understand how tackling in American football works. I guess because your injury prone RB can't take a LEGAL and FAIR tackle, defenses should just let him score. Quit being a bunch of purple pussys and eat the lost.

I believe you are the only person to refer to him as the greatest running back ever? It is pretty moronic to talk trash about a guy just because you dont like him. He has obviously proven himself a good back but no one ever said the greatest.

because he isn't the greatest running back ever... that's how.
34-0 is a great score for the winning team.

So much for my upset special. As of right now, there are only two teams in the league that can stop the Cheeseheads; New England, and Dallas.
