How much should my 10 week old be eating in one sitting? Right now she eats around 4 ounces (sometimes less) every 3 hours. Is that a normal amt and how long should I be feeding her on a 3 hour regimin?

Babys eat on their own schedule and eat as much as they need. You do not need to adjust the schedule. When she goes through her growth spurts she will let you know that she needs more.

There are growth spurts at 3 weeks 6 weeks and 3 & 6 months.
My daugherth wehn goign through her gorwth spurts (the first three kind of all ran together ) was eating 3-4 oz every 2 hours around the clock.

what/when your daughter is eating is normal/average. Yuo should feed her on demand . She does not know to overeat if that is what you are worried about. She will start to eat more when her body demands more and her stomach grows larger. And she will start to eat less often as she is content longer when she consumes more in one sitting

I'm jealous, you're getting 3 hours between feedings. My guy likes to eat 4 oz every 2 hours (at 10 weeks it was about 3 oz, now at 14 he's eating a bit more but still every 2 hours). Babies eat according to their metabolism, if you are feeding on demand this sounds perfectly normal, especially if she is growing and gaining weight properly. Feeding should be a routine, not a regimen. Enjoy it now, when she becomes a teen and body conscious then get concerned about 4 oz meals LOL.

That's fine!! Babies instinctively know when to eat and how much to eat....they cannot overeat. So don't worry about that. Just feed her on demand, when and how much she wants and she'll be just fine. You only need to worry if she drastically reduces how much she eats in a short time.
