Yes, I have run out on my porch more often than I care to admit to see what the shooting was about. Last Thanksgiving morning I heard some shots while I was putting the turkey in the oven and it was a friend of mine who took down a small buck... and he dressed it out and gave it to me....So, I run out to see if I am getting some wild game.

Yes, this past summer I did. I was taking a nap on the weekend one evening, and my husband was out back shooting the pistol at a skunk trying to get into our chicken pen. Scared the s h ** out of me.

Huh, when I hear gunfire, I stay inside where it's safe!
I once heard it in the middle of the night while taking a shower. I came out of the bathroom to find all the lights turned off and my dad sitting in the living room with the rifle, while my brother scouted the yard with the Glock. We have some nasty people in the neighborhood, and we don't want them jumping over our wall, into our yard to escape their gang-fights.

One year, as a joke, we got my dad a pair of those full body fire engine red long johns. He had them on one day and went out on the front porch to shoot at a groundhog and someone drove by and saw him. I was so mortified--I started crying because I didnt want my friends to think he was retarded. (I was 12 at the time)

No, I'm used to the shooting. We live in a woodsy area, so you hear a lot of shooting around fall or wintertime.

Actually had to go out to see where the shot came from but the police told us it was a car back firing. Yeah!

Actually yes, some dealer got shot in the parking lot behind my place. Idiot tried to throw his stash under my car, so I got my keys and moved my car.
