Why must the length of the telescope be adjusted when you move from viewing an object close by to one far way

Hi. It has to do with the focus point. A near object and a far object have different focal points. Your eyes do the same thing, only automatically.

to keep focus man. just like a camera when you move from something close to something further away you can see it out of focus for a second before the camera has time to adjust.
