Look up what moth balls are made of. Is this an ionic or covalent material? Is it polar or non-polar?

If you know this, you can work out the answers to your questions. And if you have a mothball around, you can try it in water to check

from what i could see in the box at the right lower corner its solubility is only 8 miligrams per 100 mls of water. thats not alot. look up salt and see how many miligrams of it will dissolve in water for a comparison
