It's quite normal for a young man. I used to enjoy listening to requiems and even sepulchral Gregorian chants; I also got a kick out of cemetery sex... It's the nearness of death that makes life an adventure.

I can completely relate. If you're like myself, then you're probably an older spirit that has been roaming the world for awhile. You may be comfortable with death because you may have experienced it before. On the other hand, you may feel that death provides a plane of existence for the soul to rest, a Summerland perhaps. I feel that we should try to enjoy life while living and try to remain mentally present in each moment. You never know when your time is up. So, make life an adventure. Your spirit will move on when it's ready. Just have patience. And have faith in yourself.

I don't think it's weird to have a morbid curiosity, and it's normal to get tired of life at some point... But when you find something that makes life worth it...beyond the bullsh!t 9 -5 and all that, you'll be alright... and will find some joy out of life. But I don't think it's a bad thing to look at the world and wish things were different, big or small.

It could be a sign of OCD.
Some sufferers of OCD have repetitious negative thoughts that they can’t control and are very upsetting to them. The worrier does not experience any repetious behavior, such as checking or hand washing, or any thinking compulsions. The worriers and pure obsessionals worries about health problems, past traumatic events, or failing at some task in the future. An example of some one not demonstrating any compulsive behavior that could temporary alleviate their distress would be someone worrying about losing all of their saving in the market crash and not being able to educate their children. A severe example would be shameful images of inappropriate sexual behavior, or impulses to kill or hurt themselves or their love ones. Afterward, the person may dwell on how these thoughts may come true for hours or days.

I was that way too but I got some counseling and some meds and I have a much better outlook and I feel better. Its nothing to be ashamed of. A lot of ppl have behavioral health problems which are sometimes caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain and you can def be treated so you can live life happily. Good Luck and make sure you get some good help.

You may not think of suicide per say, but what you are doing is ultimatly thinking of it in another way.
You need to seek help with what ever is causing you to think this way.
Now if your thinking of death in terms of how you want your funeral, or how you want to be remembed and not having the feeling of not wanting to be on earth any more then i dont think there is a problem
I my self have make sure all the plans for my funeral are on paper. So that I know in the end my wishes are followed.
but in your case this isn't normal

I think it's normal to wonder about death. What it's like, what happens. Heaven is the most wonderful place you could ever imagine. Golden streets, just beautiful. There is no reason not to want to live in heaven. But God will lead you to Heaven when he think's you are ready. Everyone has a purpose in life. And you die when you have fulfulled your purpose. Suicide is doing away with the greatest gift God can give you: life. And taking away his gift is a dis service to him.

It is quite normal. You may visit any jail in any part of the world. You will find that every inmate is looking forward to the day of his release. Our world is very much like a jail to us where our soul has to pass an unspecified period of time depending upon our Karma in previous lives including this life. So thinking about the release is quite normal

not necessarily weird everyone thinks about their own mortality but when you say you want to move on......
although all religions tell you of an afterlife there is probably nothing on the other side except oblivion
remember heaven and hell are created right here by ourselves and if your feeling down remember that life is several differant books with many chapters and your happiness is often right on the next page
