Two wrongs don't make a right. If you put Kansas at #1 you might as well put Hawaii at #2. Kansas doesn't deserve #1 or #2 until they beat a real team and you know that. Until they beat Mizzou Kansas merits as much discussion as Hawaii does. Kansas' strength of schedule component - 84th!

LSU is the SEC Champions, but they lost to 2 unranked teams in the SEC. When LSU loses tonight, will you post an ignorant excuse "Why they should've won" or even better "How bad the refs were"... You can pull #'s out of your A$% all you want, but you can't sit there and without question and say that LSU deserves to be one of only 2 teams that should have a chance to play for the National Championship.

I would have to agree with stonewall jackson, I myself am an Oregon fan and every year whether my team is good or bad I have to watch them crawl out from the unranked black hole, which makes it almost impossible for teams like Kansas or Oregon to get a high ranking. I'm glad it's been a roller coaster ride this year so less popular, yet great teams, make it to the top.

And in the next few weeks it may be an even more muddled mess, once the conference championships are played. It looks about as "correct" as it can be at this point.
Right now, there is one bowl game that matters and the rest are basically recruiting tools. A 16-team playoff puts a premium on each of those games and ESPN can still have a bunch of filler bowl matchups for all its networks.

If Kansas had a media darling name like Michigan, they would be #1. They made a worse Ohio State team #1, why not Kansas?

a playoff would suck a$$ with that lineup... lsu would rematch with va. tech? 48-7 the first time was bad enough.
missouri and wvu *might* be a decent game.

Yeah looks about right. Strange that WV is back up to around where they started (5), and VaTech is ranked high again.
