Will a bank convert english pound into us dollar?

I am 15 years old and just recently my mom has come back from england she gave me 15 pounds and i know thats like $31 or something close to that. My question is can i walk into any bank and without I.D., Bank Account, and being a minor can i convert that 15 pounds to $31?
