I am new to video games and bought a used XBOX. I am having troubles with the discs being scratched and damaged. Is there a game system that doesn't use discs? Is there less damage when using something else?

PS2 uses disc type games. All current game systems use discs. The last system to use cassette style games was the Nintendo 64.

PS2 uses discs. Try getting a disc cleaner. I have not had any trouble with the used games I have bought from GameStop or Game Crazy.

honestly...come on...have you been living under a rock...the only console systems that use cassette games are the older systems. If you aren't that big into gaming than an N64 may be your best bet. You can probably find em on ebay for about 20 bucks and games are really cheap as well.

well there are a few but they are old.
the Nintendo 64, play station 1, something like that.

to make it so it wont scratch the discs. dont move the system, buy these special cases for the cds. its a case that you put on the cd and put it in the system and when it does they scratching. it will scratch the case.

No it uses disks as well.

Honestly the XBOX is kinda crap. Especially being used it's probably got problems with the eye reader. Take it back. Most games even with scratches will still play.

I know my PS2 plays games that are HORRIBLY scratched. *I have the big one not the small one*
