first off are you mechanically inclined and do you have the proper tools??? if you do it still is a pain in the rear to complete....
1 remove wheel , 2 remove lock in/out hub. 3 remove little bolt in the end of the axle (behind lock in/out hub) 4 use a pickle fork to remove lower ball joint 5 put truck shifter in 4-low and 1st gear 5 remove six cv axle to differential bolts... shaft should be loose.... installation is reverse of removal...

plan on this taking a few hours to complete, and if your not very confident on working on front ends, or don't have a pickle fork and a lot of patience leave it to a mechanic.... can be very aggravating

get a manual from haynes or chiltons. a cheaper way is to go to autozone and print out a section from alldatadiy. this you can also find on the autozone web site.
