I've been waiting for a babysitting job for ages and finally got one. I've had the red cross babysitting course done years ago and everything that would help me done years ago but I finally got a job.
Their are 2 girls, the older one knows me. The older child just started JK. The younger is around 1-2 not sure exactly how old. I'm so excited but there mother told me they may or may not be in bed when I start babysitting, I only start at 8:00-8:15. So if they are awake I want to be able to have something small or fun they can do. I plan to make a babysittin bag. I've already added 2 colourful books they probably will like.
Also there mom told me she's not very strict on bed times but 9:00 at the very latest. She said that if they wake up try to help them with whatever they need and get them back off to bed. She also told be that the younger will be in bed and asleep right away but if she does cry she can have a real attitude. So any tips, what would you bring in this situation?

hey there, you could bring crayons and paper, some small healthy snacks, dvd's, teddy bears, little girls love make up too,
good luck dont worry too much about what bring the kids normally get really excited about seeing someone new besides mom and dad..

maybe bring a movie they can watch =)
I always freak myself out by "hearing" noises haha so just ignore them...it's nothing!...keep your cell on just in case. I always watch TV - that keeps me occupied until the parents come home

Paper towels, handy wipes, soap.
Expect these kids to POOP EVERYWHERE.
