If memory serves me correctly, about 19-24% of the time is the withdrawal method effective. The rest of the time, every one else is screwed(and not in a good way either mind you) AND pregnant to boot!

Withdrawal method assumes that the only chance of pregnancy is if he ejaculates within you. When, in fact, precum holds hundreds of sperm so unprotected sex whatsoever is a great risk since you can never be sure he didn't pre *** because for most men precum occurs quickly.

The withdrawal method only works about 1/2 the time for birth control.
It NEVER works for prevention of STD's
Use a condom.

There's always a chance of getting pregnant while having unprotected sex, even if you are using the pull-out method. Studies have said you have about a 30% chance of getting pregnant each month using the pull-out method. But, you should also remember that couples who are trying to concieve have only have about a 30% chance of getting pregnant each month as well- which basically means that even though the chances are low, it could happen.
