How do you deal with backstabbers?

These people deserve to receive a treatment of some bitter medicine . If this individual has set up enough people then may be a false rumor could be set up and have everyone corroborate with each other and catch the backstabber at their own game and make them disreputable and unreliable.

If you try and be nice to you and they still stab you, I walk away. I know that it isn't the nicest thing to do. But, they can't expect you to be totally gracious to them after they stab you in the back.
The Bible talks about "turning the other cheek" ( I'm paraphrasing) and it also says that if the person constantly wrongs you to continue being loving to them.
As a Christian I have a REALLY hard time with this one. I've walked away from many friends, one just recently. It's sad, cause I love her dearly. But, she is a little off her rocker,a nd I just couldn't take her craziness anymore. God will have to work on me with that. Oh well. Thanks for letting me rant.
I'm sorry you got stabbed in the back. Jesus did too, by one of his Disciples. It happens all the time.

i tell them, "thank you for making me stronger."
i get over it. i forget them. and then i laugh at them.
surely, somebody who has the nerve to stab ME in the back has way one too many problems.
However, I don't deal with many of those, maybe two-faced people, but even then, not often. I don't gossip. I don't put too much trust in people, but I'm not afraid and I have no secrets.
I don't get back at them because they are not worth my energy. I don't get back at them because I don't want the world to think that I let somebody take over my emotions and my actions.
Karma.
I live a happy life, and whatever happens to them, happens. And I don't hope they have a bad life, I just work on my own life and know that I'm getting places. I'm a good person ;)

Oh yeah, the question, sorry, I always get a little excited when April is on top, it's her favorite place to be. Umm, I don't deal with em, they're gonna be that way they don't get to be lucky enough to stay as a friend. Plain and simple.

my sister-in-law is a backstabber. i dont deal with her, i have nothing to do with her at all.

When you see them Smile really big and say hey how are you!!! Act like nothing happened, but don't go around them just speak when you see them....and go on about your life....you ever heard of Kindness Kills!!! Sure does it'll eat 'em up everytime!!
