they socked her in the arm and kicked her in the stomach. i dunno about you guys but that doesn't sound like football to me. and we talked to their parents and they just said "they were playing rough." and i'm still under age so i can kick their *** lol just kidding. i don't want to physically hurt them just scare them silly

You have to give her the tools to deal with it on her own. When she gets sick of them picking on her, she'll make it stop. Whether she clocks them in the eye or simply stops hanging out with them... it's all on her.

Well Shir Zhan, here is how it works. Many women in Saudi Arabia are still not educated, and the education system outside the cities is not as good as it is in the cities. Traditionally, in Saudi culture, girls were raised to become good wives and to look after their husbands. Something that was the same in Western culture until less than a century ago. In many traditional marriages in Saudi, the woman receives a dowry which is hers to keep (unlike India, where although there are fewer women than men, the man gets the dowry from the woman's family). The age of marriage can be as low as 12 or 13, but I will tell you that cases such as this are rare and are the exception rather than the rule. It might be that a man has two wives who are also getting old, and so he marries his third wife, as is permitted under Islam, so that there will be someone to care for the others as they become more infirm. It might be that he still wants children and his other wives are barren or past menopause, and he believes that a younger wife will bear healthier children. The fact is that we do not know why this marriage is taking place. However, don't be so quick to judge. While I (though not yet 65) would not want to marry a 13 year old, there might be reasons for it. I do know that in the US nobody was too quick to confront the break away Mormon cult for the longest time, despite not just the odd occurence of young girls being married off to old men, but the regular, everyday fact of life of the young men being run off and the oldmen marrying the teenagers and taking them as their second, third, fourth, or fifth wife! I hope this helps. Cultural mores vary from place to place with reason. Look beyond your cultural biases and accept that this happens some places and nothing, nothing you are going to do will change it. Living here, I realized a long time ago that if change will come it won't be because other people want Saudi to change, it will be because the Saudi's themselves want to change. And last word - many Saudis would consider this strange, but would accept that it can happen.

Nothing, they're only 10, and while you're driven to protect your cousin (totally normal response), "getting back at them" will only cause more trouble for everyone. Use your knowledge and past experiences to arm your cousin with the information you wish you had when you were her age. I'm sure even if it wasn't this drastic, you can think of a similar situation. If you could go back in time and handle it differently, what would you have done. Use that to help your cousin.

These stupid 10 yr olds happen to be boys????? If so this is part of there macho, I like a girl but i would die if any one found out thing.....
You can't "beat them up" you are at least 13 to be on this site you would be labled the bully, you are how ever enough older to make their life a little miserable, ever hear of a "dutch rub"??? That is where you tuck some one under your armpit and with your free hand you rub your knuckles quite firmly and very fast on the top of their head. Grampa used to do that to my kidz and they hated it......it doesn't really hurt them it is just a helpless place to be...... and helpless is what they are making your cousin........Laugh like a maniac while you are doing it so it lets everyone see what you are doing to them......hahahahahha

If they were playing football she could have easily gotten hurt you need to find out exactly what happened. Do nothing right now as getting beat up could have been a tackle that she didn't like.
Kids also make mountains out of mole hills and lie sometimes. I had a neighbor kid lie about me and all the other kids thought I really did hurt her when I never touched her. IF you do anything just make sure you have all your facts.

You could try playing a trick on them, HUMILIATION, find a way to humiliate them in public, get your little cousin to learn martial arts, hide somewhere on top of a building and wait for them to come by with their friends and throw eggs at them, but don't let them see you, throw water at their pants or skirt in a way that will look like they peed when they are going to school. I don't know hun, sorry!
Would you please answer my question, but before you do, this is only for a good laugh guys, so please don't be offended!?

it always hurts when someone close does, but remember there is always 3 sides to every coin his, hers and the truth. so did they beat her up with their fist or were they just playing rough as in football. if it was football it is a definite contact sport maybe she needs to sit on the sidelines and cheer them on.

Don't let her go there anymore and if the parents ask why you tell them the reason and aside from that she is "little" and she shouldn't be there in the first place.

There is a time in everyone's life when it is necessary to learn self defense. Looks like your cousin's time is now.
