I get this email 1x-2x daily, many times from different sending IP addresses; it's one of those unfortunate things that come with having an email address.

You could report it to Yahoo, but spammers are pretty efficient: they can make an email look like it came from one email address & it was really sent from another.

In any case, you should always report spam but in most situations it won't do any noticable good.

No. No shutting down. Plus you don't want his program anyway. It's just a script that goes through various IPs and sends fake traffic to sites. Not real people. If it's not that, then it's probably some traffic exchange gimmick. You can get traffic for free if that's what your after.

yahoo can not shut anyone down. they can stop them from delivering mail to yahoo accounts, but spammers will just use a different email account.

Do not worry about it, report it as spam and get on with your life.
