I've had my ears pierced there twice in the past. It's a good place to be if it's in your nature to be a little flamboyant. :)
PS: To itsjustme. She means "Claire's Accessories". It sells earrings, jewellery, fake feather boas and a multitude of other colourful stuff aimed (mostly) at teenage girls. However, for gentlemen who really don't give a toss what other people think their orientation may or may not be, it's a fascinating place to dream of being a peacock.
PS: ...and it's in almost every high street in the UK, with the possible exception of yours. xx
