I have noticed lately that my son has started to drool incredibly more than he ever has before and on top of that when I look at his front bottom gums there are these two things that seem to be coming through his gums. I rubbed my finger across them and can feel a hard substance. I am a first time mom so I dont know if he is starting to teeth or not. He is only nine weeks old so he is still very young. The thing is they are not coming out of the top of his gums. Its more like the bottom/middle part.

Drooling is a most common sympton when teething. Other symptons include: slight temperature, sensitivity in the gums, being more fussy than normal. A good site that lists the 10 most common symptoms can be found at: http://www.babiesonline.com/articles/baby/tensignsofteething.asp
IHope this helps.
