Are you cramping a lot? (More than usual?) Do you have cramps or pain in your lower back? If so, it could be a miscarriage.
I would make an appointment with the doctor if I were you. Hope this helps.

Give it to you straight. When I saw this question my first thought was the spelling. Therefore I assume you are around 14-16. My second concern was the phrase "I drink a lot and I am not on the pill". In your terms I will be classed as an 'old fart'. However, I have a daughter who suffers from the same heavy and irregular periods. She does not drink and does not have sex. She has polycistic syndrome whereby she has periods for 2 whole weeks then nothing for 3-4 months. She is extremely fit and eats healthy. However, I feel that this is not the case with you. I take it that 'bf' means boyfriend and perhaps you have sex without using a condom. Not being on the pill is stupid, as is your 'bf' not using condoms. Heavy bleeding is a sign of something not right. You need to get it checked out. Drinking really does screw up you body especially periods. If you don't eat healthy foods and live on takeaways etc it will affect your body functions.
I may be wrong in my assumptions of your lifestyle, but please get it checked out with a doctor. I have other thoughts as to your problem. However, post it if you want another reply.

Think you really should be seeking professional medical opinion.
If you have done so already try several other doctors as well.
I suppose you are possibly going to be asked are you sure about your dates: in other words, has it really only been that amount of time.
If you have a family doctor's book you could also look in that, if not, go to your local library to find a book.
But it is most likely a family doctor's book will inform you once you have gone through their questions and answers to go seek medical help.
After all you admit yourself your condition is not the norm.
It may turn out to be some simple explanation, so best get it off your mind - better that than your worrying so much, which is not helping you.
There are also pure essential oils such as: Melissa (Blend) I use to cure all sorts, I put about 5-10 drops in bath of warm or hot water. Not sure if hot bath would suit you though. I'm just speaking here for myself.
But as I mentioned in the above don't be afraid to seek medical help. You will be glad you did. This should be your first move, they will better inform you, and most likely treat you.

Chances are it's something that can be handled fairly easily,
ovarian cysts, "spotting", etc. But if by drinking a lot you mean alcohol, then your system is too weak to handle whatever the problem is. Cut back on the booze, take some
iron supplements and vitamin B supplements to make you a
little stronger and GET TO A DOCTOR. Don't screw around with medical problems, if it's minor, you'll be relieved and happy, if it's serious and you catch it in time your boyfriend will be relieved and happy because you'll live longer.

I had similar problems and have gone to the gyno plenty of times only for them to tell me that it is normal to be this way. I would only be really worried if you continually got it for a long period of time (like a month) or didnt have it at all. Otherwise go to the doctor they will have the best answers, hopefully.

It could be any number of things, endometriosis being the first thing that comes to mind. That can cause prolonged and excessive bleeding. You really need to go see a doctor. My mom had endometriosis so bad that she became anemic. Only a doctor can properly examine you and give you a diagnosis and treatment options. See a doctor.

Maybe you should consider going on the pill. It controls the amount of time difference on your period. But always consult a doctor if you have a problem with your body.

It could be a hormonal imbalance, ruptured ovarian cyst, or any other number of issues that we women can have.
YOU only have ONE period , the other bleeding is not a 'period', but it is bleeding in between your normal periods.
You do need to see a doctor to see if anything is actually wrong!

There could be multiple reasons, hon. Don't stress. You could have misscarried. Many women misscarry don't know it. On average almost every woman has at least once. That would cause the beeding. Just see how long it lasts it should only be a couple days.

You truly need to make an appointment with your family doctor or ob/gyn.
It could be any number of things, however, you mention that you drink alot and this concerns me as heavy bleeding could be secondary to liver damage cause by drinking too much.
Other medical conditions such as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), thyroid problems, endometriosis, and liver or kidney disease, may cause menorrhagia (heavy periods)
