im doin a research paper on napoleon for the french revolution... and i am doin it on how he crowns himself as emperor...

why[ he did so .. or w/e]

and

He crowned himself to show that he was responsible for his own rise, not the church, or any other person or organisation.

He contributed to the rise of democracy through the Nopleanic code, many of the rights in the code were never given to people in Europe before
