Where can I get the activities he used in the video to show how a child with a learning disability percieves things? I'm doing a presentation and I think he did an EXCELLET job in his movie..does any one know where I can get these pictures/lessons ext from online?

There is a study guide that accompanies the video. It can be purchsed at http://ldonline.org in the Learning STore under LD. I too am a big fan of the Lavoie series, especially FAT city. I have made a few items to accompany the vidoes, but the guides provide many materials.

Again on line, but maybe a different on also. The Fat City Workshop. Trained teachers for years with this instructional video. Did the same thing and was great.

i did not see the movie but as someone with a learning disability i can tell you this - we see things multi dimensionally..

the best way for us to learn is by doing things - problem solving real life issues that are not limited to buying pencils or apples but something that rewards creative thinking - cause we are real creative - our minds have been shut down and we have been punished for our creativity.
