My name is AuntB because (1) I have no children, so the best I can do is be an "aunty" in the sense that friends of the family were called when I was a child; and (2) I always liked Aunt Bee in the Andy Griffith Show. 93 is an important magical number, and I was still considering myself a witch/pagan priestess when I chose the name.
My avatar is normally a statue of the Goddess of Liberty which you may recognize. She's especially important to me because (1) I am a Libertarian, and that's the symbol they use, and (2) I strongly believe in Liberty and Justice for All.
We may as well add (3) that I'm a liberal when it comes to immigration laws. Or maybe not a "liberal" exactly, but I believe in giving others a chance. If they can be productive members of society while carrying a green card, let them apply for citizenship. And make it easy to get a green card. I recognize that amnesty may not be an appropriate policy, but make it sensible and reasonably easy.
The red background smiley is a temporary "mask" to identify the 360 loyalists who want to stick together when 360 morphs into something else.

I have many nicknames...but the one I use quite often is carelesscat. The story behind that is my friend from high school gave me the nickname careless cause I would always trip over my feet, or get scratches and sometimes get bruises for no reason. I'm accident prone. The cat part is that I used to babysit a cat and I for no reason why...started to act like a cat. I would purr and meow and the cat would look at me funny and then meow back at me. So, that is how I got the nickname: carelesscat.

Well my avatar's story is that I'm my own Cyrano de Bergerac.
Since I'm hideous in real life I found an image that appeal to my inner view of myself. The name was just something that I put in to have Y!A accept. I initially joined just to ask two questions ... I was hooked after that. I never thought to change my name & avavtar .... I never thought I would make it that far.

How I got my Y!A nickname is a long story. It's the first name my parents gave me when I was born, combined with the last name my parents gave me when I was born. My avatar is a picture of me drinking from a sippy cup.
