As a veteran, let me say that as a poem, that wasn't too good, but as a sentiment it is very appreciated. Thank you for saying it, and I liked the rhyming. The rhythm left a lot to be desired, but it was also hard to get all our M-16's to create a pretty rhythm also. Peace and tranquility and thanks for the thought.

!!! I wrote the exact same poem, word for word, line for line, not more than two hours ago!!!
Obviously since I wrote this poem, I think it is marvelous! It is perfect. It is sublime.
