I have a book report on Tom Sawyer. One of the questions is what is his physical appereance in the book, not in the movie. Any ideas?

If no physical description, do you think you his actions require some sort of body? Maybe what could be called wiry, athletic. Because he lived on a farm he would have had a healthy diet, poverty was rampant and so shoes would have probably been a Sunday thing. Read BETWEEN the lines and come to your own conclusions.

The author is Mark Twain, a pseudonym for Samuel Langhorne Clemens. Read the book and go ahead.
Good luck!

I would just read the book and figure it out. You can even just flip through the book until you come to a description. It should be in the beginning.
