Chances are it wasn't something that you did the first time around. The best thing that you can do right now is not stress of whether this is going to happen or not. That may only make it worst on you. Think happy thoughts and the fact that in 5 months you will be holding a beautiful little squirmy thing in your arms. Good luck on the rest of your pregnancy.

My first pregnancy the baby died when I was 4 and a half months along. I have no idea why and no medical reason was given.
My next pregnancy I was very scared and so I do understand your fear. But really there is nothing you can do. Just relax and take it easy. My second pregnancy resulted in a beautiful little girl who is now weeks away from turning 7!!!

I wish you all the very best and will pray you give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby.

Im sure nothing u did caused your other child to pass away. These things happen and there are times where the parents couldnt have done anything differently to make sure there baby lived a long life. I know its prob very hard but continue on with your pregnancy with no worries. Chances of this happening again are very slim and u worrying like this will cause stress for you and your unborn baby. Im sorry u went through such a loss and hope everything goes well with this pregnancy and thereafter. I have faith that your baby will be alright. Congrats and lots of luck.

A family member was at such a high risk, she couldn't even bend over. Just be careful with your body, and remember you have a life inside of you! Don't drink or smoke, but I'm guessing you don't, and eat healthy. Talk to the doctor for more help, s/he knows best!

Congratulations and good luck!

Does your OB/GYN know why your first baby died? Have they run tests this time? I lost a baby girl at 21 weeks last year due to incompetent cervix and have to have the cervical stitching next time around 13-14 weeks.

AS LONG AS YOU TAKE IT EASY AND GET PLENTY OF REST AND EAT HEALTHY YOU SHOULD BE OK. YOU CAN'T THINK OF WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST WILL HAPPEN NOW. YOU CAN'T EVER LIVE IN THE PAST. YOU HAVE TO FOCUS ON THIS BABY AND LIFE NOW AS YOUR BABY IS COUNTING ON YOU. BUT YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT EASY. GOOD LUCK

That fear never really goes away. I don't think that there's anything that you can do to prevent it except for eating healthy, don't drink or take drugs....

Good luck.
