Before the war and lies....America was Better.....more honourable.

Since the war? Nothing but mistrust, deception, b.s out of Washington DC.

There was a time I remember distinctly when I lived in the old country in my grandmother's village (literally rural: no electricity, no phone, no running water, just an outhouse, a well, the chickens and pig and cow).

Someone from the city brought a household gadget to show (I think a can opener) was marvelled upon because it bore "Made in USA" and it was a good sturdy can gadget.

There was a time when "Made in USA" meant something.

But your leadership has no heart today, no creativity, no love - they exist only to sell out and gather profits in whatever twisted name they can. If that means shedding blood these days in the name of profits for oil, it seems to be no issue to your leadership.

But it's your leadership - you picked them. Enjoy them while you can.

I love my country, America. Not liking the war or the current President can't change that in the least! The America I love will be here long after Bush is bad history!
I could have been born anyplace in the world, but how fortunate I was to have been born here!
The country is nothing without the people, I think that the American people are great! Sure, we call each other names & get angry with each other for not agreeing with us but, when push comes to shove, we are united as one. Some of us disagree about the wars in E. Asia but, we don't kill each other over it, we just state our feelings & move on, we don't hate each other because we don't agree. We just live & let live; each with his own feelings which we are allowed to voice without fear. There are places in the world where we could not do that, I'm darn glad I don't live in one of those places!
Just because we are in wars that we don't want to be in, doesn't mean that America has changed, it's still the best place to be in the world. Yes, there are changes that need to be made in our government, but they will be changed, of that I have no doubt. Too many people want change, so we will vote for change & it will come about without fighting in the streets or any killing of each other; it will be by peaceful means, which is what we are all about, living together in a peaceful manner even thought we don't always agree with each other. When we are in danger, we stick together, always! Thats wonderful!

Bill Clinton was the face of America. I thought that a president that would receive sexual favors in the workplace from a subordinate young enough to be his daughter had no class and was a disgrace to the office he was supposed to represent. And the sad part was that a good part of America did not condemn Clinton and probably wished that they could get away with having sex in the workplace. Morality in America was on a slippery slope, an easy target for Al-Qaeda.

I was embarrassed that we had a jerk like Clinton as our leader before. His sexual behavior was the least of it. He gutted our military, sold us out to the Chinese, and covered this country with all manner of sleaze. It may be that Bush hasn't done everything right but I'll take him over Clinton any day. At least Bush is in favor of America unlike the socialist democrats.

my thoughts on American foreign policy has been the same since the seventies when they backed the Chile dictator who helped him kill thousands of students. i like American people just don't like the way that the government act when it comes to human rights for people in south and central American countries. where they seem to think that fascist despots are good enough for the people there. such as supporting the Contra guerrilla's in Nicaragua and Samosa before that. not to mention supporting the death squads in El Salvador. sorry but that is the way i feel about American government and Bush is just another one in that long line of making mistakes on foreign affairs all thanks to the advice they take from the CIA. Who seem to run american foreign policy really

I liked Bush, now I dont. Then I thought we needed to return to a non-interventionalist foreign policy as I do now. Still think that NAFTA and the WTO are bad for us as a nation.
