I have a Wii, a bunch of GameCube games, two Wavebirds (Wireless GameCube Controllers), and a wired GameCube controller. I plugged the wavebird into the GameCube slot on the wii, but it still wouldn't work. The game would load up, but the controller wouldn't work! So I tried with my wired controller, and the EXACT same thing happened! I don't really know what to do...Please help!

If I load up the game with the WiiMote, the game loads fine. But it doesn't switch to the GameCube controllers, and it doesn't stay with the WiiMote. There is no cursor...Period.

Did you put the controller in the right slot? There's no reason why it shouldn't work. Try every single slot...if none of them work, call Nintendo's customer support line.

Try using the wiimote first. Load the gamecube game into the wii, click on game slot with the wiimote. Once the game start loading on the wii, it should switch over the gamecube controllers. Hope this helps you. :)
