my computer recognizes the printer but does not have the software for it listed.?

usually printers come with an installation disc......find it run it and presto. if you cant find it call the company/store where you bought and find out if they can give you another one.

Go to the printer manufactorer website and download the newest driver for your model.

You need to install the software before you can use it using the cd that came with it, other wise it will pick it up but not allow it to print
