I am laid back most of the time, until it becomes important to become serious and/or strict.

I think I'm more serious than strict. I usually do make more things difficult than they have to be. Lots of people are like that though I believe.

When appropriate I am serious. About serious issues I am strict. The rest of the time I am laid back.

Myself, I can be very serious. But I am never very strict. I try to be patient with people.

You confuse me. You mean strict, right? I don't get it. Am I serious or strict? Um.... neither, cause you cant be serious all the time and you cant be strict all the time either.

Sorry, the words are not related and certainly are not "either-or" words.

I am both serious and strict in many situations. Neither is mandatorily exclusive of the other.
