My children have always prefered packed lunch, although they are now healthier than ever they aren't that nice....The school I work in has a new chef and the food used to be bland, now it's DELICIOUS and more STAFF than ever before are changing to school dinners. But then every school provides a different meal. I prefer to give my children packed lunch so I know exactly what they're eating.

My Daughter has had school dinners since being at school and she is now 7 years old. She would like to try a packed lunch but i said NO as i like her to have a proper hot meal, especially in the winter months as its better than a cold sarnie and a bag of crisps when its below zero outside. Plus my Daughter isnt that fond of bread, veg or salad, so she would be very limited in choice if she did have packed lunches.

My daughter always prefers packed lunch from home but she does like to have the Christmas dinner in school.

My granddaughter has a packed lunch because we gave her the choice after trying school meals, it could be the packed lunch is favourite because it goes to school in a Barbie Princess bag. She's only 4, So she may change her mind.

I dont have any children, but my friend has two girls and a boy: they hate school meals, but love the packed lunches that their mum does for them.

my 2 boys both prefer to take a packed lunch that iv made for them.but there school does have a good choice of meals they could have if they want to

I haven't got children nor grandchildren, but I can tell you that I prefer taking my lunch to school.

the college lunches keep on with a strict education giving all of them the right component sizes of each and every serving of the nutrition communities ... so that they are properly balanced. yet if you should make sure she is ingesting what you eat at living house it extremely is nutritious then through all skill p.c.. her lunch. at the same time as she comes living house, have her a healthful snack ... fruit or string cheese is sweet and filling sufficient to keep her chuffed till time for supper. in case you p.c.. her lunch for college you could finally end up giving her too a lot nutrition which in turn can make her sleepy at the same time as at school.
