I want to know if sex is a primary or an acquired drive? For whichever answer you give please give reasons and tell why maybe even with examples. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's built in. It's unlearned. If it were a learned drive, we would have much less problem with pregnant teens, unwed mothers, and other issues associated with sex that happens between people with no understanding of the consequences. We spend much more time trying to suppress the sex drive and keep people from having sex carelessly than teaching them how.

Sex is a nonregulatory drive. It is unlearned because it is controlled by hormones, you can say.

It is a primary drive we were created to be sexual creatures. Even small children have a sexual drive. Freud proved that.
