1) first u have to convert that fraction into improper fraction. 5 x 3 = 15 + 2 = 17. so its 17/3. now u have to subtract 2 by 17/3. which it equals -11/3. i am sure u kno how to subtract in fraction. so the answer is:
-11/3

2) first u have to convert that fraction into improper fraction. 4 x 4 = 24 + 4 = 28. so its 28/6. now u have to subtract 3 by 28/6 which it equals 5/3. well first i got 10/6, so we have to simplify right, so i just simplify them. ok? the answer is: 5/3

well for number one the answer is -11/3
first u have to convert that fraction into improper fraction which it equal 17/3, then subtract 2 by 17/3 = -11/3

for number two its just a same thing. first turn that fraction into improper fraction which it equal 28/6, then subtract 3 by 28/6 = 10/ 6, then u have to simplify that fraction = 5/3.
bye!!!
