Did they ever arrest anyone for arson?

For the moment they seem to be. Where I live I could see both the San Diego fires and the San Bernardino fires. There hasn't been anything in the paper about arrests since the guy they shot and killed in San Bernardino right in the middle of things.

Not all fires occur in the west although the majority seem to be happening there. Very few arrests have been made charging arson. Weather conditions are mostly to blame When the wet season is over and Santa Ana winds kick up,everything dries out. It doesn't take much to start a fire which can get out of control. Florida experienced a severe fire a couple of years back which burned thousands of acres. Fortunately no cities were effected.
