By the way girls are getting there period as early as nine these days, its all the hormones in the meats we eat.

For all of those above saying she should not be having sex, how do you know she was not being forced? as in abused?

Wow....! she needs to get medical attention especially if she's choosing to keep the baby. I advise she go to a Hospital or a Gyn/Ob and they should give her better medical advise as to what she should do or expect. She will also need some type of psychological help to help her deal with the situation emotionally and psychologically.

If she is afraid to tell her parents the hospital will help telling if she wishes. Eventually no matter how scary it might be you must tell your parent or guardian. They may be able to help her decide what's right for her and support her. Being that she is only 10 I myself would not let my 10 yr old daughter have a child. I am not for or against abortion but sometimes under certain circumstances you must do what is best in a situation. It's not easy raising a child at all. Or if she does not believe in abortion she can choose to have the baby and have it put on adoption.

Also who is the guy who got her pregnant? How old is he? Was it rape, forced? Is he is alot older? Over 18 yrs old? or he forced her into having sex? than she needs to bring this to the police's attention!!! Don't be scared, its not fair and its illegal!

She should def-ly tell someone and not keep it to herself this is a very serious matter. Speak with anyone who she trusts. Good Luck!

it is so sad when young people have to deal with things so complex .Hopefully the child has some sort of support group to help her along.At 10 yrs old being pregnant should be the last thing to think about.God forebid some has hurt the child.I know as a mom my first concern would be my child.I think she should tell someone who is responsable for this.If her parents won't listen tell people until someone does listen.If she is in a spot where she is scared of who did this to her tell her family if she has any.Main thing to would be her health mentally and physically.Get her to the doctor and make sure the baby is ok.If by the grace of god the baby is ok and her parent[s] will help her ,get her awya from who ever did this maybe even find a good family who cannot have children and let someone addopt the baby.but that would be up to her and her family.At 10 years old she should still be playing with dolls.God watches over the young and innocent.

Its not impossible for a 10 year old girl to be pregnant. I am sure most of us got our first peroid when we were 13, but there are some girls who gets theirs as early as 9 years old. And if you are getting regular periods, then you can get pregnant! And there are some 65 year old woman having baby's too.
Kids are having sex younger and younger these days. Its heartwrenching, what happened to innocence? What happend to childhood? When I was 10, I was playing with barbies, not boys. I didn't even think about that. Talk to her parents and in this case, I hope that she miscarries. And if not then she should be thinking about adoption. Not abortion, adoption. Abortion is just the easy way to fix a problem, its cowardly. And as humans its easy to committ murder. It seems that we like too. The baby has a heartbeat, meaning that its alive. Even though we can't see it, or it hasn't done developing, it still has a heartbeat.

Im tired of all these people assuming this child got pregnant by being fast! Seeing as they weren't there they dont know what happened!

Anyway I definitely DONT recommend abortion even if she is 10. That could mess her up more than going through w/the delivery. The parents need to get involved in this whole situation and hopefully they'll raise the baby until the 10 year old is old enough to take responsibility for the child.

While it's not impossible since a girl can have a period at 9...BUT I doubt it's highly likely. There's a 12 yr pregnant at the middle school here.

If you know her...tell her parents. She's probably just lying to get attention...and needs some serious help.

As for all the people saying that she should get an abortion because child birth would be tramatic...You don't think that having a baby sucked out of her wouldn't be tramatic? Freakin get a life people. Abortion is NOT always the answer.

Hello to start,my heart goes out to the girl that is pregnate.I know she is a fraid to talk to someone but fear is holding her back.It's better to seek help then to wait to long and deal with it on her own.She don't have to,it's going to be hard at first but put fear behind you and get the help you need.someone that you trust to stand by u and say a prayer and believe me.You will be helped,she's not ready to be a mom.Mistakes are made and you can changed this problem around for the better.Takecare and know your never really alone ,someone can help.

That is so disgusting who would impregnate a 10 year old? Is she from the south? Yuck I can't get that picture out of my head. Abortion is the only answer her poor little insides aren't ready to properly develop a fetus. Plus what are the chances it would be deformed if carried to term? Where are the parents? I think it's very unlikely that a ten year old is pregnant but it's still possible if a girl can get her period she can get pregnant and some start as young as 7! Well I think she should get an abortion because at 10 she is almost certainly too small and light to cope with pregnancy and birth. She needs to go to her doctor NOW and find out for sure if she is or not hopefully she's not too far gone to get the abortion.

Firstly, the word is pregnant not pregnate! Secondly, you should not be asking us but contacting the police, as this is statutory rape/under-age sex! You don't state how old YOU are, but as a friend you should know this is wrong - do something about it. Speak to your parents and ask them to contact the police or social services.
