Judging from the thumbs ups and thumbs downs I'm seeing on a lot of answers. It seems we ALL can agree that we HATE Barry Bonds!!! Can it be true?!

The ideology between Yankee fans and Red Sox fans has nothing to do with Barry Bonds. If Bonds was either a Yankee or Red Sox, (God forbid) then he would be a factor in the discussion.
Yankee and Red Sox fans have two franchise that they can be proud of. Being Bonds into either picture would take away from that pride.

I am a Braves fan and I agree that everyone who is singling out Barry Bonds as the ONLY steroids user in baseball is borderline braindead. I guarantee you that many of the pitchers he hit home runs off of KNOWINGLY took the "cream" and the "clear". Bonds wont be with either the Sox or the Yanks, he's gonna stay on the West Coast, which leaves his options as the Dodgers, Angels, or A's.

There is no correlation between being a Yankees or Red Sox fan and what they might feel about Bonds. You are always going to have differences of opinion.

Why do you hate him so? (coming from a Giants fan..of course) still wondering though. He is a great player and whether he took steroids or not I believe he did not take them after the steroid "law" was established. And...he's not the only one. I think there's more players than we can even imagine that took them.

I'm a Yankee fan and I think Barry Bonds is a great baseball player. Look at his stats, even before the supposed
"supplemental" time. He was a HOF'er even then. Give the guy credit. Others have used supplements and can't approach his numbers.
