Anyway, I am 11 weeks and at Thanksgiving I will be 12 1/2 weeks. I was thinking my husband and I would tell them then, but I am still scared something could go wrong if I do. You know Murphy's Law. I was thinking about waiting until XMas. I will be 16 weeks and might feel a little more secure. I am totally freaked out, because they all think we dont want any kids. What would you do? No I am not showing. I am fat so noone would be able to tell anyway and I have yet to actually gain wt. I am eating healthier than ever and even lost two pounds so no trouble hiding it.

I waited 12 weeks and regret not telling them sooner. Thanksgiving would be a great time to do it.

12 weeks is when the risk of miscarriage goes down to around 2%, so I think that will be a safe time. If you want to wait until Christmas that's fine too.

well if you wait for christmas, you can put together a little give for the grandparents to tell them your pregnant, like a picture of the ultra sound in a frame. it would be a great christmas surprise!!!

It is a lot better if you tell your family soon so it would not be a shock when you are giving birth to your baby. i would tell them after you think it is the right time for you and your husband
