Place an old towel or rag under the connection where the hose screws on, turn of the water and remove the hose. Try blowing through the hose as you press the button or leaver. If you can't blow through it, hang it up and pour Lime away in the hose, push the button or leaver so it will get into the valve, let set for a couple hours. with the valve in a cup of Lime Away. Clean it out with water and re-install it, that is if you can blow through it after the cleaning. If not, replace it with a new one

I'd agree the renegade...try removing the sprayer nozzle first and soak in white vinegar to dissolve any scale clogging it. and check for water flow with the sprayer head off. If no water flow, problem is in the hose connection to the faucet. I've had some where small particles get inside them and clog them up. Be careful if you disassemble it.
