Well, I'm ten years old, but I like stuff a thirteen year old might. If she has a computer, get her a game for her. Maybe she'd like and itunes giftcard if she has and ipod, and if not, buy her an ipod. If she's into reading, get her a book that she will like. I love to read and I highly suggest the Harry Potter books. my freind is 13, and she loves stuff like CD's and also a karaoke machine. She would probaly like a microphone, or a keyboard. I think she would love perfume, or lotion. 13 year olds are really into places like hollister and abercrombie. Maybe you should get her a gift card for there. Really anything she talks about. She might like stuff like comfy slippers, or new pajamas.

What you should get her is a brand new stove and an I owe you. That's what my father gave me for Christmas when I was 13....
Or here's an Idea... how about asking her instead.
Personally I think your daughter is getting too old for this anyway. Get her nothing.

Never-fail method of gift giving – consider the approximate amount you want to spend. Then think what the person you're giving to would do if they happened to find that amount of money in their pocket, the laundry, on the ground with no way to return it, etc – what would they do with that amount as a windfall? That's what you should get them.

I personally think it all depends on what your daughter likes. If she likes clothes from a certain expensive store, go on a shopping spree there. If she likes music, an instrument. Also, mani-pedis, trip, that sort of thing.

A beautiful scarf set?

Perfume?

Her favourite CD?

A small gift basket of soaps, candles, and body lotions?

A great book? (Maybe one of your personal favourites - something to pass on to her?)

Tickets for you and her to go to a concert?

What does she like? Or need? You don't have to be extravagant, but usually the best gifts are those that compliment a person's interests.

Don't you know your daughter well enough to know what to get her? I would think after 13 years you would know something about her. Don't you spend enough time with her to know?
